El Americano Taxi & Tours was born from an unexpected friendship between an American entrepreneur and a hardworking Salvadoran who lived in the United States for over 22 years. Starting as a busboy, he climbed his way up to become a respected Italian chef in New York City kitchens. After his deportation, he returned home with the same drive and discipline.
We met by chance and quickly bonded over a shared vision: building a trustworthy taxi and tour company that showcases the very best of El Salvador. Every destination we recommend — volcanoes, beaches, lakes, colonial towns, and more — is a place we personally visit and love. We only partner with and promote businesses that meet our own high standards of quality, safety, and service. No paid promotions or kickbacks — just honest recommendations we stand behind.
